Every Brain is Unique
At Brain Insight Lab, change begins with understanding your brain. Founded by Brigid Turner, MS, QEEG-D, the practice blends neuroscience, compassion, and performance psychology to help clients overcome stress, trauma and anxiety, and unlock new levels of focus, clarity, and well-being.
Turner’s path to neurofeedback is unique: after 12 years practicing law as a prosecutor on domestic violence and child abuse cases, she became fascinated by how trauma affects memory and the brain. She went on to learn about traumatic brain injury, representing people who had sustained traumatic brain injuries in personal injury cases. This, along with her background as a Division I soccer player and suffering her own concussions, led her to get a master’s degree in Applied Psychophysiology. This surprising journey shaped her passion for the brain’s resilience, adaptability, and its prominent role in human flourishing.
